In this role, you will be responsible for developing the strategy and executing key programs to generate demand and build brand awareness for Liferay products and solutions. The candidate must possess strong project management, coordination, collaboration, and excellent communication skills. The individual will work closely with other members of the marketing and sales team in Spain, and he/she will be also involved with other teams in Europe and US to build and drive marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
Develop the marketing strategy and plan for the Spain & Portugal territory, with special emphasis on digital with clear goals to achieve awareness and qualified leads objectives.
Design, implement, and execute creative targeted vertical and horizontal campaigns (at least three campaigns per calendar year) including partners to drive qualified leads and opportunities through the funnel from target audiences that cover from digital strategies and content marketing to social media and events strategies:
Comprehensive campaign plan development, including measurable goals
A-to-Z campaign execution from start to tracking to reporting
In the context / support of above campaigns; development and execution rational for marketing mix (Online/Social, Events, Marcom, Horizontal/Vertical, ABM, Paid)
follow up & analysis of results incl. reporting on success for each campaign/investment and all leads fully documented in salesforce.com
Build and maintain a solid marketing database of the key target audience to increase the MQL (marketing qualified leads).
Localize and translate websites, collateral, messaging and any asset related with the regional strategy.
Establish the communication strategy and generate relevant PR and content marketing pieces (e.g. blogs , whitepapers, press releases) according to criteria of usability and SEO. In particular, it is needed to demonstrate a strong capacity in generating new marketing materials about business solutions.
Develop Customer case studies (print and video).
Drive Channel revenue with demand generation programs with and through Partners: Through innovative, integrated marketing campaigns with assigned partners, deliver on channel lead generation goals and drive demand for Liferay solutions
Define the channel strategy to engage with partners and execute co-marketing initiatives to drive demand and lead generation through partners.
Track, measure, analyze and report on results and budget to determine ROI and improvement areas.
Manage the local marketing team by planning, prioritizing and directing responsibilities of each member.
Equip and develop the team through hiring, training and coaching.
Desired Skills & Experience
10+ years of proven and measurable experience in developing and coordinating traditional and new media-based B2B marketing programs including web marketing and strategic design of website content, online advertising, direct mail campaigns, field seminars/events and other lead generation vehicles.
Strong knowledge and experience in B2B lead to sales process and buying stages.
